On this project Sollenberger Silos built two 30-foot diameter by 136-foot-high silos for cement storage. Site work, engineering, loading and reclaiming were done by the general contractor. Each silo was constructed with an 8" thick concrete wall, and a flat, poured concrete roof. On the bottom, steel hoppers were welded to a plate cast into the wall. The silos were constructed so trucks could drive through the silos for product load-out. 

Sollenberger silos constructed these three silos for dry fertilizer storage. The silos were constructed with epoxy coated rebar and 4,000 psi concrete for increased corrosion resistance. The silos have a conical concrete roof. Sixty-degree stainless steel hoppers provide easy product load out. A highly automated loading and unloading system requires much less labor and equipment cost than an equal amount of flat storage.
